Mizuno MX-300 Irons

The Mizuno MX-300 Irons 3-9P from Mizuno are slightly more on the game enhancement side than the game improvement side and few of the higher handicappers struggled a little with control. The Mizuno MX-300 iron has been designed to provide players with a reduced offset. They are like the dream blend set of workability and forgiveness to coincide with amazing feel.

Mizuno MX-300 Irons

Featuring reduced offset and a more compact head, the Mizuno MX-300 Irons give proficient ball strikers who find the MP series just a little bit too tough to hit consistently out of the sweet spot, the chance to experience the joys of Mizuno forging. The MX-200, nice club though it is, robs better players of elements of workability and shot-making, but the MX-300 gives all that back and more.

Mizuno offers the MX-300s in a standard array of lofts, ranging from a 3-iron, all the way up to a gap wedge, though the standard set runs 4-iron through 52° gap wedge. The stock shaft is the True Temper Dynalite Gold XP, in either the R300 or S300 flex profiles, and is a lighter, higher launching shaft than the Dynamic Gold. They come wrapped in Golf Pride M-21 58 round grips, which are somewhat similar to the popular Golf Pride Tour Velvet.

The full cavity utilized in the Mizuno MX-300 irons also contain a reconfigured Y-TUNE Pro technology for enhanced feel and flight control. The milled pocket cavity (3-7) redistributes 12 grams of weight low and deep to provide a high penetrating launch, while the scoring irons (8-PW) utilize a solid power bar design for greater workability.

The beauty of the MX-300s really did shine on the misses where the club still offered enough forgiveness when the ball was hit off the toe or the heel. While distance was shortened, the ball flight was still penetrating to high, and straight.

The sole of the Mizuno MX-300 irons aredual cambered to minimize turf drag and digging through impact. This model is designed to conform to the 2010 Condition of Competition rule.
