    COBRA RADSPEED DRIVERS

    Cobra are well aware length off the tee is the clear number one priority for most players but unfortunately distance isn’t across-the-board equal with drivers.

    Designing a driver that performs well for one type of golfer will often be not so great for another group of golfers, and vice versa.

    It’s a complicated exercise but to capitalise on the RADSPEED concept, Cobra have diversified their driver offerings into three distinct RADSPEED driver models – the standard RADSPEED driver, the RADSPEED XB and the RADSPEED XD.

    Each 460cc driver is weighted uniquely to produce performance skewed towards different swing characteristics and requirements to meet the performance demands of practically every player on the planet.

    THREE RADSPEED DRIVER MODELS

    Cobra’s RADSPEED driver range offers three models, which extract speed and distance by optimising the good and minimising the bad across three distinct swing types and skill levels.

     

    COBRA RADSPEED DRIVER

    Designed for flushers who require workability, low spin and low launch to complement an above-average swing speed, the RADSPEED driver’s compact head shape features a forward-biased radial weighting setup. Greater mass is positioned to the front of the sole (16g fixed weight; 12g adjustable) and works together with its rearward counterparts (8g fixed weight; 2g adjustable) to achieve fast ball speeds, incredible forgiveness and low-spinning distance.

    COBRA RADSPEED XB DRIVER

    The RADSPEED XB driver, short for “Xtreme Back”, is big, bad and blinkin’ long. Its oversized address profile will inspire confidence and a rear-biased radial weighting configuration makes it the fastest and straightest of the three RADSPEED drivers. Proportionately more weight in the rear (14g fixed, 6g adjustable) and a single fixed 8g weight in the front produces distance and forgiveness that tops the charts. The RADSPEED XB and XD drivers are also available in women’s models.

    COBRA RADSPEED XD DRIVER

    The weak fade of a chronic slicer is a distance-sapper off the tee but the RADSPEED XD driver, short for “Xtreme Draw”, is designed to straighten up drives and add distance with strategic heel-biased radial weighting. The oversized head profile features a fixed weight on the rear (14g) to boost forgiveness and 8g on the front to elevate speed, but 10g of internal weight located in the heel helps the clubface close faster through impact. It’ll fight a slice and, spoiler alert: could even produce a draw.

    COBRA RADSPEED DRIVER FEATURES

    All three RADSPEED drivers include a Cobra Connect GOS sensor embedded in the end of the standard Lamkin Crossline grip, which can automatically connect to the Arccos game analyser for shot tracking statistics on every drive. Cobra’s adjustable hosel can alter lofts by plus or minus 1.5˚ and all three RADSPEED drivers offer a choice of premium aftermarket shafts. The RADSPEED driver range is available in a yellow and black colour scheme.
