The Mizuno JPX 825 XD irons are specifically designed for the Japanese market. They are imbued with more features and technologies for maximum forgiveness and easy distance.
These ultra forgiving irons have a dual component clubface - the Spring Steel forged face gives added “trampoline” effect for farther distances, while the forged body provides that soft, buttery feel that most golfers crave for. For added stability, the engineers have shifted the weighting of the clubhead to the heel and toe. So with fewer tendencies to twist and turn upon impact, the chances of bad slices or hooks will be minimised.
Compared to the other models in the JPX 825 range, the XD has a larger sweet spot. High handicappers will welcome the offset, which helps to square the clubhead at impact for a more draw-based flight. In addition, the sole is designed for improved turf interaction, helping you hit the ball soundly from various lies. And if you have a preference for shiny clubs, then the JPX 825 XD, with its chrome plated finish, may just be the club for you.
