The faces of the King wedge have a new progressive milled groove design that features wider grooves and gapping on the weaker lofted wedges, and narrower, tighter spaced grooves in the stronger lofted clubs to give optimum spin and trajectory.

The new grooves are combined with Variable Face Roughness a milling technology Cobra uses to maximise average roughness and max peak to peak depth to the USGA limit.

The notch design, a long standing feature of Cobra wedges, has been improved to enable the sole and trailing edge to sit lower to the ground. This means the blade height is closer to the turf on shots where the wedge is square or open, allowing for greater consistency of shot.

Spin is maximised with the use of a variable face roughness that optimises grip across the face to give the control required for shot making from both grass and sand around the green.
