Mizuno 2012 JPX 800 AD Iron is a Japan only release. It is made for maximum forgiveness and easy distance. It featues a s25c soft steel forged head for a solid and consistent feel. The face featues a large sweet spot with a well balanced head to toe design for stability during impact. The design is made slightly thicker all around for great forgiveness and stability from anywhere on the face. It also features a thicker and rounder sole than the previous models, allowing the center of gravity to become very low. The big cavity back design allows vibration to be absorbed and increases feel and energy transfer towards the ball. It has a slight offset to help square the club at impact.

A popular feature of this iron set is the new JPX800 graphite shafts. It is a 60gram light weight shaft made for maximum feel and distance on the irons. It has a mid to high trajectory with mid spin. It allows the ball to get maximum easy distance off of the irons while landing the ball with some spin.
